These are so frustrating. Requires you to sand down the sides. Not just a little bit. Like... 2 whole minutes of power sanding with 80 grit on each side. Which of course makes the sides uneven, so everything is wonky. I haven't hated something more for a long time.Also, it's IMPOSSIBLE to measure how long your wood should be for these. I went through two 2*4s before I gave up and started cutting them 2 inches too long and then sanding off a bit at a time.Drilling pocket holes would have been infinitely easier than this.Screws are pretty meh too, several of them stripped as soon as I even looked at them.They look... Fine. There's nothing particularly ugly about them.

good looking and stronger than a toe nail or even a pocket whole alternative, hopefully the coating will stand the test of time but the look as it is now is worth it
