HOW TO INSTALL
- Step 1: Shut OFF the power at the breaker.
- Step 2: Use a hole puncher to punch a Dia. 0.6" knockout on junction box if needed.
- Step 3: Screw out the lock nut from the sensor.
- Step 4: Let the sensor's eye go through the knockout then secure the sensor with the lock nut.
HOW TO TEST
- Step 1: Turn ON the light power, then wait up to 5 minutes for the photocell to switch it OFF.
- Step 2: Cover the photocell eye completely with black tape or other duck material to simulate night condition, the light should be switched OFF.
TIPS
- Do not face the photocell into the midday sun
- Do not face the photocell to artificial or relected light. Light from windows, signs, street lights

This may work great... I don't know. I can't use it... it will not fit my application. The Install Instructions above are incorrect. It states that you need a .6 diameter hole. That is WRONG. The photo cell 'stem' part is only .35 diameter... so this is WAY too small for a .6 diameter hole.

This is made of good quality and fits well with an existing outside light that had a light sensor that did not work. After I installed and saw how it worked flawlessly, I purchased a few more afterwards to install on existing outdoor lights that currently do not have sensors to save electricity.

It works perfectly on my led fixture. Easy to install.Would be better with 2 mounting nuts instead of just 1.I used it to replace a non functioning one bought here.

it took more time to dismount and remount the fixture than it did to replace the sensor. So glad i found it on Amazon. Saved time and money not replacing the fixture.

Photo cells work. Unfortunately no nuts on thread included. Hard to find these at the hardware store.

I'm an electrician. I'm 90% sure I know how this is wired. But guessing at color codes and wire uses is not a good thing. And for someone who has little electrical knowledge? NO No.
