Well, it's been about 18 months since I purchased this after realizing that my valve was clogged, causing low water pressure. This commonly happens after turning off the main water supply, turning it back on, and letting debris flow into the valve. (lesson learned).Replacing the valve of a 25 year old shower faucet was relatively easy. The hardest part was getting the old rubber gaskets out (they didn't come out when I pulled the valve out). I was finally able to pry them out and cleaned the inlets very well per the recommendations.I didn't install this right away upon receipt of the new valve. It was probably about 2 months following. Anyway, it has been about 16 months since I installed it and IT STARTED LEAKING. It started out with just a few drips every 10 seconds. Over the next 2 weeks, the leak grew to a water fall. I now have a constant stream of water coming out of my faucet and no matter what adjustment I make, it doesn't resolve the issue.BOTTOM LINE: This knock-off replacement valve is a plastic piece of crap. I miss the OEM part and I am going to try and find it so that it just might last another 25 years.

Poor Quality, leaked after Install. The cartridge was hard to back out. Bought the OEM cartridge and the install was a breeze. Save your money and time, don't buy.

The puller tool is fantastic. I never would have pulled out the original Moen module without it. This is worth half the price of the kit for sure.The module did NOT fit into the valve body in my shower. I probably could have sanded the base down, but the internal pieces in the module were plastic instead of metal, they seemed rather cheap compared to the original. So I used the rubber rings and gaskets and the silicon goo to rebuild the original Moen and we are back to not leaking.In the instructions it does say to make sure the innards are fully seated but on this it still stuck out a fraction of a millimeter no matter what I tried. That ended up being the same fraction that would have been needed to get the clip in. On my old module one of the rubber rotary gaskets on the module came out in two pieces and what was nice is that the aftermarket module had two extra rubber gasket pieces and that and just silicon lubing everything in the old module fixed it. Probably I could have just replaced that one gasket and we would have been in business and there were extras in the kit!So if you need a module for replacing one you had to cut out, I don't know if this is for you. Otherwise this kit, a Phillips screwdriver, needle nose pliers, a SAE Allen Key set, some mechanical ability and 30 minutes this kit will get it done for less than half the price of a Moen 1222 module at one of the box stores.I will also drop the hint that a rebuild kit is a viable options for these modules if you get them out in one piece. You can piece a rebuild out from these clones or you can look for a rebuild kit.

I was able to put this one in easily, however after 6 months it started to leak again...Edit: customer service was great. I was reached out by the seller for a replacement or refund. I am very pleased with their customer support.

Home Depot wanted $58 just for the cartridge, bought the cartridge, removal tool and a new retainer clip for half that price. removal tool was awesome. popped out the 10 year old cartridge very easy. Had to dig my other bathrooms old cartridge out with needle nose pliers last time I changed it. easy to install and adjust and now turns nice and easy.

Was easy to install after i removed the pin holding the valve in place. Forgot to remove the original pin. Installation was easy. Really did not need the valve removal tool that i purchased with the valve inners.

The cartridge was for a walk in shower. The removal tool wasn’t really necessary but it bid a good job. Remember to remove the white square plastic piece on the end. That’s for a different style faucet. The faucet cartridge fits two different styles.
