Nice little starter cake decorating kit! I used this set to make my daughter's birthday cake, and she loved getting to choose from the different piping tips. I also appreciated that they included a coupler, making it super easy to switch between tips. The piping bags were better than expected—I was ready for them to pop open like other cheap ones I've used before, but these held up really well. The scrapers were a nice addition, though I personally prefer metal over plastic since it's easier to heat for smoothing frosting (just a little trick!). That said, plastic scrapers are standard in most kits, so I wouldn’t dock points for that.I do wish they had included larger piping tips, as the ones provided are better for smaller details. Luckily, I already had some on hand.As for the cake pans, they’re decent but not perfect. They're not watertight, but I had no issues with leakage using a Funfetti cake mix. I only used two of the three pans—one worked perfectly, but the other had a buckle that was almost impossible to release. I eventually got it open, but it bent the pan more than it should have. On the plus side, the pans cooled quickly and released well with a shortening and flour dusting.Overall, a solid kit for beginners with some great tools for decorating.

I recently made a cheesecake in a large springform pan I have, but it was wayyy to big for our small family. This set is ideal, as it comes with three different sizes. I already made another cheesecake on the smallest one, and that size is just perfect for 4 people. The included accessories are a bonus, with plenty of piping bags and tips. Excellent value for the price.
