This item will not work with laser heights around 10' in a room with a finished ceiling.The pole will extend as shown in the descriptions to cover any height up to the max. However when the bottom pole extension is out by more than about 1/2, the tripod will not fit. So I think the intention may be to just wedge the pole between the floor and finished ceiling, and leave the tripod off in those cases (there are no instructions, and the video is not clear).That's not really acceptable, as it may mar the ceiling, which is why I wanted the tripod setup in the first place.Very bad design. I think this could have been remedied by including a section of pole 1/2 the length of the others.

This purchase is one of the best I ever made. I'm a diy'r and until this,I wasted a lot of time with second guessing. Thank you for a great product for a good price and packaging was also great!

Replaces my tripod since this can go much higher. Good quality. Its thin aluminum so not heavy duty. Its good for what it is. Hold lasers, phones, small cameras, etc. Adjustable.
