Product came packaged well and appears to be of equal or better quality than the WAY overpriced brands that Petlibro or Chewy sells on their website. I also purchased the filter sets for the Petlibro sensor-activated waterer with the desiccants.I do like Petlibro products but be forewarned; their after-the-sale filters and desiccants required to sustain their feeders and waterers are far too expensive on their website.

Die Trockenbeutel haben wir sowohl in unseren manuellen No-Name Futterautomat, als auch in unsere Aufbewahrung vom Trockenfutter unserer Katzen gelegt. Somit bleibt es frisch, schimmelt nicht und fällt auch nicht in sich zusammen.Da diese Beutel keine Duftstoffe oder ähnliches haben, haben wir diese aufbewahrt um diese auch in andere Lebensmittel zu verstauen, welche trocken gelagert werden müssen. Einige haben wir noch übrig, aber ich denke, dass sich auch hier eine Verwendung finden wird.

I bought this fancy feeder during the Black Friday sales and couldn't be more satisfied. The inclusion of a compartment built specifically for a desiccant/carbon filter was a great idea, despite not living in a humid environment.For your own pet's safety -- do not expect a scientific miracle. These bags are not a preservative for food; they simply aid in preventing mold and reducing any odor coming out of the granary (it does NOT make the food smell better). That can also be useful in preventing bugs from taking a strong interest in the feeder.Personally, I wouldn't recommend filling the feeder with food beyond a week's worth, regardless, as the feeder will never be airtight and decomposition of food (particularly meat products) starts immediately, the only thing that will slow it is a freezer, and it cannot be reversed. Your cat has a stronger stomach than you, but their food operates by the same laws as your food does.

I have one of these pet feeders, and they do hold a lot of pet food, so these are an essential to stop the food getting damp and mouldy.They just go in the holder in the lid, and just get on with the job. How long they last is very dependent on conditions, but I would say between a week and a month.

I don't have the contraption that this is meant for but these are invaluable for keeping food stuff dry - we buy a lot of food in bulk (like 10kg of rice at a time!) and the bags never seal properly.These are filled with silica gel and carbon to absorb moisture and odours - don't really need the latter, but absorbing moisture is critical to avoid spoilage and mould.They are quite large as they're meant to be used in an automatic pet food feeder, but they are easy to chuck into a bag of dried food. I put one in the sack of rice, another in a huge sack of muesli, and they work.So I can attest to their ability to absorb moisture - very strong stuff.

I'm not sure what I can say about these other than they are a good value for the quantity and fit my feeder perfectly. I've had no issues with moisture in the dry food held in the feeder. I throw one in the cat food bag as well because I buy the bigger bag and it takes awhile to use it all. I'll likely continue yo use these.
