I have used lots of materials like this set, but none quite the same as this particular set. Most of the Dremel type accessories I’ve used are either built as one permanently affixed piece you use until you’ve used it up and then throw the whole thing out (shaft and all) or a pad or wheel that attached to a shaft with a screw. When you finish with the attached piece, you take out the screw and replace the pad or sander or cutter piece and once again screw it to the shaft and begin again. I have not used a hook and loop attachment for anything this small before.Actually, it worked pretty well for the most part. I wondered if the sanding pads would stay put under use, but they actually did quite well. And the flexibility of this setup makes it easier to get into tighter places without having to remove excessive material from a surrounding area (like reaching into a groove to sand it out without smoothing down the sides more than needed). I think this will actually open up some new possibilities for sanding and shaping smaller items while minimizing unwanted loss.There is a lot to try and I may need to come back and add to this review at some point. But for now I would have to say I am pleasantly surprised that this setup works as well as it does. I’m always excited to find a way to do an old task with a new and improved format. That translates into greater creativity and wider possibilities. I love this stuff!I recommend this set!Some of the most satisfying work is the very small endeavor!

Love this assortment of high girt polishing sandpaper pads. The foam backing makes them adapt to curves. I use these for guitar finish repair and they get into the tightest corners of the guitar shapes really well. Recommend!

The hook & loop on these sanding accessories is very strong and held all the accessories I used securely to the backing pad. The same with the interface backing pad too. Everything was separated and The accessories came in their own individual plastic bags and all these bags were packaged into one large Ziploc bag.I used my Craftsman Nextec 12v drill with these accessories and they all worked well with this drill. I think it actually worked better with this drill turning at a lower rpm than a Dremel type tool and I was honestly surprised at how well this was going. I just wanted to test these accessories and I tried them out on a piece of old, painted molding. I used the interface backing pad attached to the backing pad with a variety of grits of sandpaper. It worked better than I thought it would. I was honestly impressed. I was able to get into the detail of the molding without actually wearing down that detail. I was able to get into some really tight spots and I got good results. I also took a piece of scrap wood that had sharp edges and I smoothed over those sharp edges using the interface pad. I didn’t expect these small 1-inch discs to last long but I feel they held up pretty well for as small as they are. None of the accessories ever came loose or flew off of the backing pad.I haven’t used the higher grade grits yet (1000-5000) or the foam pads but everything else has worked really well so far so, I have no doubt that these will work as well when they are needed. I have used other Avresecie products in the past such as their 5” interface pads and 2” flap discs and have been satisfied with them also. I am very happy with this order.

Great little kit for usage with a drill. Hook and loop system for easy application and removal. Included are a wide selection of 1” pads in various grits. Perfect kit for those who turn wood on a lathe, makes final sanding a breeze.

Boy what a pleasure it is to have all of these very versatile pieces to use with my Dremel. I tried using them wet on my headlight and they held up well and there was no dust. The range of grits really made the job go well. Just to be safe I didn't run them at full speed and I kept moving. After some buffing with some polishing compound the headlights look great.

This sanding and polishing kit is way more useful than I expected. The hook and loop discs attach securely and hold up well under use. I used it with a compact drill and was able to get into tight corners and curved surfaces without damaging surrounding areas. The foam-backed pads are especially good for following contours, and the range of grits (all clearly labeled) makes it great for everything from aggressive shaping to final polishing.It’s ideal for small projects—think model work, trim touch-ups, or even headlight restoration. The included accessories and organization make it easy to jump into whatever you’re working on without hunting for the right grit or adapter. Haven’t used every single pad yet, but what I’ve tested has worked great. Definitely something I’m glad to have around for detail sanding.
