It’s perfect for reinforcing the bottom of the American flag so it doesn’t gray from the wind whipping it. Just what I expected but no longer needed it.

When they say "soft" they mean it's just a shiny ribbon with absolutely no stiffening to it. It's completely pointless as a stiffener, it's so flimsy. It's a pretty shiny ribbon but the fact that I can easily easily tie it into a bow just goes to show how thin this is and so it's useless as a "horsehair braid". If you want a lot of shiny ribbon for trim, get this. If you want something that will actually give shape to your projects, get literally anything else.

This horsehair tape did a great job on two circle skirts I made. It was easy to use and it looks so nice! Watch one of the many YouTube videos first because there are lots of worthwhile tips to follow. It gave a nice sassy hem!
