These shelf supports are very well made. The dimensions of these supports are exactly as specified. They fit snugly into a 1/4" hole, are 1/2" wide and project into the cabinet 3/4". Also the size and finish of all supports is identical. Highly recommended.

Worked well for shelves inside a cabinet. They fit a little looser than some brackets I have used, but maybe I jiggled a bit drilling the holes. Whatever, they won't fall out, and the shelf is in use. Hope my wife doesn't find out I have 21 spare brackets, or I'll have to make several more shelves.

Extremely high quality parts. Color was a great match to the piece. Good, tight fit. We used these to replace the clear plastic shelf pegs that came with the furniture.

After a cross country move the movers managed to lose just about all of my self clips to most of my furniture, l ordered these clips and am very satisfied, they are strong and fit everything l needed them for, l saw some shelf hooks at Lowes and they were cheap plastic, so glad l ordered these clips, very satisfied with purchase that solved a major problem

Very high quality product for an affordable price. I was leery at first, having been to both of the big box hardware stores and being sold support brackets that didn't fit. The website has an easy to understand sizing guide, shipping was quick, the hardware fit perfectly and is very durable. I also liked that there were multiple colors to chose from so they actually blend in with my entertainment center. I would definitely buy again.

I am in the process of reconfiguring my computer workstation area and I am using the Ikea IVAR shelf sys components. One of the issues I will have to deal with is modifying the length of the shelves. In some cases this will involve shortening the shelves while in others I will need longer lengths.Originally my plan for the shorter shelves involved cutting out a section of the shelf and then joining the two ends together. As I was searching the web for IVAR parts I came across a solution provided by another IVAR user where he indicated he used l-shaped support brackets with predrilled holes. As he assembled the shelves he used screws to attach the shelves to the supports.Over the past couple of months I have been looking for straight metal pins to use with my IVAR shelves. I initially ordered 1/4 x 1 1/2 inch pins but the diameter of the pins were slightly too big, so I went with 3/16 inch (5 mm) pins which fit.Not know which support pin would work best I ordered both the 1/4 and 5 mm (3/16") pins. Once received the support pins I found the 1/4 inch pins worked best so I will save the 5 mm (3/16") pins for another project.The support pins arrived a day sooner than the original date and I was pleased since I ordered them a few days before Christmas.

These shelf supports are a very attractive dark bronze color that blends in better than any other I've seen with the 'more-or-less-walnut' shelves in my bookcases. They also slip into the pre-drilled holes quickly and yet hold the shelves quite solidly. Good product!
