The pack contains 12 X 12 ft long cables with looped and crimped ends. We are using these cables as tied down ropes for our tents and canopies. They are the perfect length and they roll up and store away in a very small box. The loop ends are finished with safety in mind with no sharp ends or edges. The stainless steel cable is coated with a thick clear pvc coating. This should make them weather resistant and stop any rust. In the description they say the load limit is 900lbs. The crimped loop ends will probably be the fail point, not the cable breaking. One thing to remember if you are using these for shade sails you will need a wide seam to push the loop ends through. The price point is well worth the price for 12 cables. Not to mention the saving on labour and time if you had to make them yourself. So glad I found cables I can think of lots of other uses for them.
