First time filling this tank and was only able to put 14 gallons into it. I would advise only putting 13 gallons in this tank because for me after filling it, with the heat of the summer it started to leak around the vent on the cap. After I tightened the vent all the way down it had stopped leaking but I point this out as a safety issue it’s best not to fill completely up and leave room for heat expansion. Other than that it seems to be well made and should last a while.
We love this!

Overall great! Used mostly for our lawn mower, it made mowing our 6 acres much easier.Container needs minimal assembly (only need to attach the hose/nozzle - 10 mins or less)When empty, it's lightweight and easy to move on the attached wheels. However, when filled it weighs close to 90-100lbs, but still pretty easy to pull on wheels (little more resistance). It's easy to fill, filter can be removed for faster filling, also lay flat to ensure it doesn't accidentally fall over. Have not come across any leaking issues, both while filling or pumping, but there is an issue with pumping...When pumping, if the container is not above the filling point, you'll have to squeeze the pump multiple times to get gas to come out at a decent pace - otherwise it will come out very slowly. When above filling point, the flow comes out similar to a gas pump. Even then, you have to stop early because the flow will keep coming until the lock switches are flipped or it will overflow. If you have a truck, you can make this all very easy by placing it in the bed of your truck, putting a loadlock/strap around it and you'll have no issue. (Fill easily, no risk of tip over, container higher than filling point)Only gave 4 stars due to the pumping issue and possibility of overfilling lawn mower.
