So far so good. I have had terrible luck with bulbs burning out in under 4 months. I have tried a few different brands with no luck, so I’m hopping this one lasts longer than the last few. I’ve had my base tested and it’s not that and I’ve used different outlets and I’ve switched out where I put it to try and fix this issue. I was pleased with the protective packaging with this brand.

I purchased this two-pack of ceramic heaters for my turtle tanks, and they’ve been fantastic. They provide a steady, consistent heat that my turtles love to bask under. They’re also perfect for use in terrariums or habitats that need reliable warmth. The price was very reasonable for a two-pack, and they arrived quickly with no issues. Highly recommend!

They work great! I used them for brooding chicks and felt that they are safer that the red bulb. Get hot but not scary hot. Used them in a reflector light fixture.

Just like people who have chickens try to keep them warm in the winter, we have an outside cat who is totally feral but we still want to keep him warm in the winter. Husband made a cozy bed for him outside the door and put one of these bulbs in something that was designed to keep peeps warm that he bought at a local agricultural store …now kitty is nice and warm and curls up under the safely kept heating bulb at night time and many times during the day. He is well fed and watered and now he is warm.

My bearded dragon *loves* how hot this lets her stay even in winter.Be careful though. It did quickly melt the plastic edges of the metal screened top.

Unfortunately I didn’t even get to use these for a few days before one literally melted.. I have never had this happen before. Maybe mine was just faulty?
