Pump was running fine until today. Pump stopped pumping and is making a humming noise, no longer moving water.Update: after taking the pump apart and cleaning out a small amount of grass pump started working well. Does a great job now.

I was a little nervous when I found this product because it was a lot cheaper than other brands. And decided to risk it and get it knowing I could send it back. We were pleasantly surprised and super excited that this is functioned beautifully all summer. It's had to work hard with all the rain and algae but it's done the job with ease. Highly recommend.

There is nothing universal about the fittings. This pump would not fit or adapt to the original pipe connected to our system, which was universal in fitting size (USA made). Very frustrating after not being able to find the adapters needed to provide a safe connection. Attempted to use the reducer connections which came with the pump and pipe we had on hand, and it would hold for about 8 -12hrs and unexpectantly blow off the hose and pump the water out of the pool. I gave 2 stars because the pump seems to be good, but the connections are junk and if it can't be used it is basically worthless. I wasn't prepared to pay $600+ for a new pump but now I understand why they warned us about the pumps on Amazon. You get what you pay for. Lesson learned.

My pump went out and it was installed via 240v instead of 110v. I was looking for something that would be compatible and came across this pump. It came with all of the parts needed to install via 110v, I went ahead and cut the power cord and wired it in and flipped the switch as 240v. Everything worked without any issues.
