I originally ordered this with the intent of testing it out and then saving it in my emergency kit at home. Little did I know, I would be using it for a two (technically two day and three nights) stay at the ER/hospital for with my brother this past weekend. As most people who have stayed in a hospital know, they aren't built for comfort of the patient/family (most cases in the U.S.). I didn't have much time to gather belongings for my stay, so I threw this into my bag with a charging cord, blanket, sweater and toiletries, and left.By the time I arrived at the hospital, my phone had about 15% of a charge to it. I had fully charged the emergency battery the previous night (thankfully), so it was ready to use immediately. When I tell you this battery got me through three nights and two days, I mean it. There was nothing for me to do at the hospital (except sleep) and be on my phone. I chose the latter. It fully charged our phones three times (three TOTAL charges, not three charges each), allowed us to do stupid stuff (like hand gestures/puppets on the wall at night (with the emergency light)), and had a radio too so we could listen to music. We legitimately only used the tv in the room as a night light (with the sound off) thanks to this device.By the time I got home, I had under 25% battery left and both our phones were fully charged/functional. I did leave the solar panel facing the window, so maybe that helped with keeping the battery going for so long, but we weren't in a room with too much sun.All in all, I am in love with this emergency battery. It's meant to charge smaller devices (and the charge is on the slower side (took about 2 hours to fully charge my phone and 3 hours for my brother's)), but still an awesome tool to have in emergencies. The side panel with the charging ports and buttons has a rubber flap to protect it from water damage (sits tight/flush when fully pushed in/installed). The unit also boasts an SOS button and a BT button, but neither of these were used during my stay at the hospital. Also, it's worth mentioning that if your battery is at or below 25%, those two features won't work (at least they don't with my unit).$45 (current price point) for this battery is more than fair (IMO) after the weekend I've had. This isn't going in my emergency stash, but will be placed in my "go bag" for situations where I have to GTFO fast, lol. That might sound crazy, but you really never know what life's gonna throw at you (and I would rather be overly prepared and look crazy, than under prepared and up creek without a paddle).Recap/final thoughts: Battery lasted three nights and two days of (mostly constant) charge (with some window light/solar power), is 100% portable and I HIGHLY recommend snagging one if it fits into your budget.Good luck and happy shopping! 😊💖P.S. - My brother is doing well now, is on the mend, and has asked me to buy him one of these for his birthday! Lol. 😂

Small, but lot of features. Great for trips, camping or around the house.

I originally ordered this for camping purposes but it's quickly become my go-to for emergencies so I keep it handy at all times. It's small, portable, and easy to hold in your hand. This has three sources of operation, another fantastic feature! It can be powered by a hand crank, charged by a USB-C, or solar as well, so regardless of the circumstance this little device will always work! It has so many emergency features on it that everyone should have one of these. The radio works great, the lights and alerts also work flawlessly, and the fact that it can be used as a power bank to power a dead cell phone is perfect. Camping, hiking, or just in the house or car this is a great device to have handy! Preset weather bands with accuracy are on point and definitely give you peace of mind during a really bad storm with no power. It even has a compass and Bluetooth as well. Different colors to choose from to fit your needs but this is honestly one of the best purchases to have in any kind of situation. Excellent value for the peace of mind it brings! Highly recommend!

I only tested it out briefly because it’s a gift. But from what I can tell it works perfect. And it even came charged.

Works great! I purchased one for myself and one for my parents after doomscrolling on TikTok one night and feel a tad better after receiving.

I am not a radio expert. I am, however, definitely a person who believes in preparedness and I put a bit of time and research into making sure we have what we need. That said, this 16000mAh Emergency Weather Radio is checking off this box quite well. I will list what are for me, the pros and cons.Pros: The reception is excellent. It brought in every channel I tried on AM, FM and the Emergency Weather Band immediately and very clearly. I was surprised it was so clear, particularly in a house that has brick and concrete partial siding where cell phones sometimes struggle. Every function is clearly marked (if small) and more importantly, works. The emergency radio is not overly heavy even though it feels plenty sturdy. It is compact and wouldn't take up much room in a a bugout bag. The design is clever and pleasing to me; functions, buttons and slots etc. are efficiently and logically placed in my opinion. The little solar panel is well stashed on top for later use as are the USB charging and other receptacles under a rubber panel on the side. The multi function light seems plenty bright and is a nice bonus, as is the carry handle. I am every excited about the powerful battery - That 16000 mAh is impressive. I used to be a battery fanatic but I moved on (it is addictive trust me lol). I did not test it out but I believe I saw another reviewer who did and said that it performed to specs. That is a pretty big deal considering the critical function of this item in an emergency.Cons: Not many. One thing I am not enthused about is the radio not operating while it is charging - That has been my experience anyway. While it is not a huge thing, if I was having to continuously monitor an emergency situation and it goes dead, that might not be great to have to wait while it recharges. However - I guess the crank could be used to give it some quick juice. And the crank did appear to work just fine. The charging indicator lighted up as promised, and the lady's voice which was previously telling me low battery repeatedly, did not come back until it had been back on for a a bit so I am guessing it took the charge after only a handful of cranks. While I would encourage anyone to do their own due diligence with an important item like this, I can say that for me this radio meets my expectations of quality and functionality. It gives me an all around good feeling that it probably won't let me down if an emergency arises. The color and style is pretty darn cute too! I suppose that could have some psychologically calming effect in a crisis right? ;)
