The only reason I didn't give this radio a 5-star rating was that it was a bit difficult to set up. Once I figured it out, though, it was great. It worked perfectly the first time we had storm warnings. Now I feel much safer having it. It is also nice that it can be plugged in, or can be used with batteries in case the power goes out. When running on batteries, it does use them up quickly, so you need to keep extra batteries on hand.

Speaker sounded horrible. Tried to program the unit and it shut off and would not power up. When done talking to CS to start my return, went to package the unit to return, the plug was so extremely hot I'm glad I immediately started the return

I ordered this for our emergency supply closet. I’ve had crank radios for 30 years and this is by far the best one! It is compact and multi-functional. The crank is so much easier to turn than my older ones. In fact, this little radio has everything I need for emergency power outages due to storms or other causes. The AM/FM/NOAA weather radio is crystal clear and picks up without any static. The LED flashlight is brilliant and very effective. I like the 3 ways it can be charged, via the crank, USB charger, or the built-in solar mini panel. The phone charger can be a lifesaver! The SOS feature is loud and flashes very brightly. Overall, this is a great little package with a lot to offer. I like it so much that I purchased 2 – one each for our daughters.

Perfect gift for emergency packs or a day at your sister’s pool! I have mine handy & loved it so much, I had others in my family get them! The kids were even impressed! They couldn’t get Wi-Fi & didn’t want to use their data so it was a WIN for me! That and I didn’t have 7 different kids fighting over music!
