Because the engine runs so much cooler I seemed to have picked up 2 MPG however I loose my interior heating. Not important to me I only drive it in the summer

Easy to install, just drop it in where the old one was. Just make sure to turn one of the openings on top point at the water neck exit port for best/optimal flow.

These are the best high flow thermostats you can but for a Jeep TJ 4.0L! I can’t find these in any of the local auto parts stores anymore, so I was so happy when I came across them here on Amazon. Keeps my Jeep running cool in triple digit Texas summer heat! Great to pair with a Flowcooler water pump and a ported thermostat housing for maximum flow at low rpms

Great thermostat. Works so much better than my stock thermostat. My electric fan will actually cycle on and off with this thermostat.

Helped my Jeep with a 4.7 stroker engine run cooler.Did every cooling trick (aluminum cross flow radiator-High volume water pump-3000 cfm electric fan )and Jeep would quickly come up to 180 than continue to climb to 210- 220 even after fan came on and thermostat opened.With this stat it climbs slower in temp and holds around 190.Thanks speedway.
