Okay so when you get a pre-wired set why would you solder the jack plug to everything it just. I mean really how you going to get it in the guitar. Ummm. Herro??

I could not find a 5 way switch in this combination but this pre-wired kit made it easier to install.

The volume and tone knob and chord plug seem to be normal, but the switch has a junk connection. At any time it has static and fuzzy sound and trying to switch it makes a loud noise with the front of the 3 switches not even making a connection and the switch always feels like it's old and falling apart from being so loose

As other reviews have stated there is no wiring diagram and depending on your setup components like the output jack will need resoldered. On my particular guitar Ibanez RG7421 anything below 10 completely kills the high end to the point the high B and E strings have very little if any sustain.

I would have given 4.5 stars if the item had been shipped with an electrical schematic and a word or two about the single black wire left unattahed. I surmise this unattached wire is to be soldered to the metal bridge of the guitar.

Was looking for a 3way switch for my guitar build, this was perfect with the exception that there were zero guidelines on how to connect the humbuckers. Searched online and the closest I could find did not work with this kit.Edited: I was able to find a diagram compatible enough to work. Connect the black and white wires on your pickups, and leave them be. Connect the green and bare wires to the volume output. Connect the red wire to the 3way switch, this is where it gets tricky, on the 3way switch I had there was no diagram at all anywhere. So I had to do process of elimination and figure it that out at to which areas each pickup goes in. It didn't work well, but it did work. So take that for what's it worth.
