This is super handy for a DIY minded guitarist or hobbyist luthier - I put this mod in two guitars and quite like it. I actually use the volume knobs much more now that they can turn down the gain without losing all clarity in the process.If you're an electrician or a highly productive luthier, you'll get better value just buying the components independently in bulk. However, if you're only doing a couple guitars, the convenience of this is worth it to just get what you need.

You can role your volume down and not loose your highs.. Great for a strat style guitar.

I finally got around to re-wiring my old Strat and all I have to say about this is... Damn it! Now I've got to do this on all my guitars!!!PS: Do your research! This works best when installed on guitars with only one volume control.
