My adores this. This is the third one she's had since she was a kitten. She's 10 now! It makes her very happy and calm. She even uses it as a bed sometimes. Well made and lasts for a long time. Get it; your cat will love you for it!

Older Cat with arthritis loves sleeping on it and lays on it watching tv, in addition to using it it for scratching. Looks nicer than plain paper ones and lasts a long time... Can flip it over to extend the life and also use the inner one for additional use.

I wanted a cat scratch pad that would last longer than the ones you get at the grocery store and that looked a little more like furniture to blend in and have some style.These are great. No the side is not solid wood but it looks great and they are very sturdy. My cats love them so much that they not only use them for scratching but also for napping. I have had them for over three months and they still have life left in them!

Cats love it. Scratch, sleep and crawl around on outer piece and love to scratch and sleep on inner piece. One of their favorites.
