This propane hose and quick connect fitting set has been a game-changer for our family camping trips with two teenage boys. The high-quality components and generous 12-foot hose length make setting up our grill and stove a breeze, freeing us from lugging around extra propane tanks and dealing with multiple regulators. The quick connect fittings allow us to effortlessly switch between appliances, which means more time enjoying meals together and less time fussing with connections. While I wish the female fittings had built-in shut-off valves for added safety, the overall convenience and space-saving benefits make this kit well worth it.

This set comes with a nice Y splitter so you can quickly split your propane line for several uses at the same time and comes with 2 12' hoses with quick connect attachments. This entire set is well made and sturdy and the attachments connect together easily and nicely. I issue I had is I didn't realize that the location I am going to be connecting these already had a 3/8" quick connect rather than 1/4" so I am going to either need to replace that quick connect or find an adapter, so if you do buy this make sure you have the right size quick connect adapter to connect to.

When I head out to go camping in my travel trailer, I generally like to bring a propane grill and stand-alone propane oven, and usually an extra large propane burner, but that always involves dragging along an extra propane cylinder (or two), as well as dealing with the clutter of the individual propane regulators and hoses.This year I decided to try to upgrade the propane system on my trailer to include a couple of quick connect fittings under the trailer, which I can attach a propane hose to, and in turn, attach the hose to quick connect fittings on the individual propane appliances. I already have a large propane tank on the trailer, and the propane already runs through a regulator on the trailer, so it's not necessary to deal with the redundancy of of extra tanks and regulators on the propane appliances. The convenience will be be well worth the initial hassle of redoing the propane lines under the trailer.This quick connect fitting and hose set arrived in a pretty nondescript plastic bag, and the components all seem to be good quality. There's no way to tell how the hoses will hold up to exposure to the elements over the long haul, but at least initially, they seem to be OK. The hose fittings are all attached properly, and the quick connect splitter seems to be well made. I do wish the female quick connect fittings had built-in shut off valves, though.Overall, I'm pleased with this product. The currently advertised price of $41.99 seems to be a bit on the high side though, considering the lack of shut off valves on the female fittings.

I ordered this hose set so that I would only need one Propane tank for my camp stove and generator. It certainly does the trick quite nicely. I installed the hoses on the the stove and generator and then used the splitter to hook them both to the tank. The hoses are nice and long so that I can still set the generator further away so it's not as loud while still having the stove closer to the camper. All of the components are very nice quality and fit together well. Definitely the makes for an easy hook up and not having to swap the tank back and forth any more.

This is a review for "2 Pcs 12 ft Propane Quick Connect Hose Extension with 1/4'' Propane Quick Connect Fitting Y Splitter Adapter 2 Way LP Gas Adapter Tee Connector with Buckle for RV Trailer Camping Grill"No surprises, this will multiply your single quick-connect into two, and connect to the 3/8" flare on your two propane appliances with the generous 12' length to each one. I could even verify the CSA logo is present on the Y-splitter and on the hoses, as this is a safety detail that sometimes gets overlooked on products but is important when dealing with things that might leak if not meeting quality standards - it is something that most of us cannot readily verify when using such products ourselves, and best left to safety certification labs.You can see from the advert photos and it is true that the Y-splitter quick-connects do NOT have that (I find rather annoying) shutoff valve/handle/combo that must be rotated to allow one to connect/disconnect the hoses from it. More than likely the existing quick-connect to which you will plug in this Y-splitter will already have such a shutoff valve on it. In all honesty, I would recommend always shutting off the primary gas value (on the RV, the connector mounted on the RV body) when you have all these appliances hooked up with multipliers and such, rather than turning a bunch of valves off when not using the gas.I will probably put quick-connects on the ends of both hoses for each appliance, just to avoid needing tools or leaving the hoses connected to each appliance when I put them away. My use case will be a stove and a grille when RVing, but surely it could be used with any pair of propane appliances.
