They are SMALL. I think you would need an additional pan besides the two butterflies when using a cake mix. Haven’t used it yet. Would like to see instructions on how to use them with the product. Very cute butterflies

This a fantastic little cake/candy mold with a definite emphasis on little. I purchased it to make a smash cake for my granddaughter's first birthday, and it was a perfect size. Slightly larger than a cupcake it is great for a single serving or two people. The cake shape came out of the mold perfectly, but of course the details blurred with the cake batter but was very visible when I used it just as a chocolate candy mold.

I seperated and colored some of the batter, and I used 2 molds and they came out beautifully. I'm not sure why there are bad reviews bc it CLEARLY states the size....how big do you think 6 inches is??? A normal or the most common cake pans for a boxes cake are 8inch x 8inch x 2inch deep, 9inch x 9inch x 2inches deep, 13inch x 9inch .....this mold averages 6"x5"x1½" its ½ of the 13"x9"...so logically you would need 2Also note.....USE COOKIE SHEET for stability. They are thin, very flexible, silicone that will bend with the weight of the batter. Use 2 for one box of cake mix (or one with half the batter and once cake cools, remove from mold, give it a quick wipe and its ready to use again for other half)

The pans worked great but I thought I was buying full sized pans- these are more easy bake oven sized lol
