At the moment we have a smaller building that needs a new handrail as the one that was installed by the previous owners is going to get someone hurt. I will be installing this handrail onto that building as there is plenty of remodeling to do. The stairs are exactly the right amount for this handrail so I decided it's the look I ant for the front porch. For that matter the columns that hold up the front roof over the porch need replaced too, or just stripped and painted, but probably remove with new ones.This comes with everything you really need to install this railing other than tools. It's solid made carbon steel, and should be perfectly safety on saving someone from falling 2-3 feet off the ground. I like the simple matte black look of the railing, and cursory measurements assures it will install properly. Once installed I will update with a picture of it installed. However, overall I can't find fault with the quality of it.

Looks great and functions as it should. Super easy to install. The bit it comes with sucks so you'll probably need a better one if your drilling into concrete like me I got through 2 holes and it was done. Fit great, nice and sturdy gray quality

I have been looking for something like this for a while.. its real real sturdy and I can lean on it bring myself up the steps with almost no effort.. easy to install and the look is neutral to match the color of the house so no biggie.. great investment.

This railing is nice, and I’m super glad to finally have one where I didn’t before. Now my husband ain’t the brightest crayon in the box, but he generally can hold his own. This railing threw him for a loop. He said that the instructions were confusing and the diagrams made the railing look much larger than it is. He said that it doesn’t come with any extra screws, so if you drop any of the smaller ones you’re screwed (pun intended) lol. The railing is hollow so it can feel less sturdy than it actually is, but it is nice and wide which allows for a good grip. I’m not sure if our front steps are made of some sort of ancient indestructible wood, but 3 of the bolts included to secure the railing onto the steps, broke off leaving the metal screw post in the wood with no head on it. But in the end, we were quoted around $700 to put cement steps with a railing onto our front porch. We had perfectly fine front steps and just needed a railing, this one is currently around $50. That’s a pretty amazing savings, headaches and all. It’s a good railing for the price.
