I had no issues with the fit. The rubber padding seems to be sturdy. I was actually surprised at how much these made a difference in protecting the car. These are a good value. These rubber jack pads are very functional and so easy to use.

I have been working on my cars for the past 50 years and, for most of those years, I used a 2-ton floor jack to lift them with a piece of wood on the saddle to protect the car from the metal on that saddle. It could be a bit unnerving to see and hear the wood crack as I lifted the car but I did not realize that there might be a better option until I saw this rubber pad. It is an inch or so smaller than the saddle on my jack and fit inside the saddle rather than over it. When I tried to use it as-is, the rim on the pad gave way with a sound that led me to lower the car immediately. I really can’t fault the manufacturer for this because they provide the size in the Amazon listing, even warning the buyer to check their jack size before purchasing, and I understood that it would be undersized when I ordered it. That said, after my first try, I simply cut the rim off of the pad and tried it again; it worked well after this modification.

I didn't know how much I needed this product until I started using it!!! Jacking my cars up on the pinch welds has always felt sketchy to me, but using this rubber pad has helped majorly. It spreads the pressure out juuuuust enough that you don't feel like you're going to bend or crush your rusty old car's pinch welds.It fits well on my Harbor Freight brand jack. Just barely too big, but that's not a problem at all.
