both are nice but the larger one is big enough to completely cover my large burner flame and being aluminum distributes the heat evenly and efficiently, won't rust and very lightweight.

Work extraordinarily well. Great price, Great product. Changed the life of person I bought them for / things weren’t heating evenly at all but hates electric. Now she has everything she wanted by using these!

Apparently, I am impatient, but I did not have a good experience with the diffuser plate. I had rinsed the plate off, (thus, the drops on it in the photo), put it on a medium-sized burner with a large skillet. I realized that the oil didn’t really heat before I placed pre-cooked burgers in it. I turned the burner to high and still no sizzle. I barely felt any heat come thru the plate. Once I removed the plate the burgers immedIately started cooking. Maybe this is not the best food to use with these plates. Or I need to pre-heat it longer. For me, I don’t have extra time to wait before making dinner. I’ll try it again and update if it goes better.
