These things light up the world. You have 2 16” X 4” arrays of LEDs with a glass face and lots of heat dispersal fins on the back, with a 4’6” cord. After an hour plugged in they were definitely uncomfortable to touch (heat) but in no danger to combustibles. They come with brackets to wall mount, but with some custom brackets these will be replacing my aging 500w halogen portable floods.

Many things this light is I am not a fan of. Like the title says this is not certified. You may have seen this before in a review and thought that it is not a big deal and if you do feel that way then you should research just what is involved in securing the UL certification.While this extremely bright light looks like a wonderful achievement in LED technology this design comes with a huge cost. After you have taken the time to mount it and run accessories to make it function the way you need If it were to fail there is no repairing this. The bulb grid is not available which makes this an expensive, non-serviceable, disposable light.Now this panel gives off an impressive bright light but I probed the draw and this light that is listed at 100 watts is only 76 watts. This most likely also affects the lumens so over all the seller is mis-representing their product as it only takes a minute to test the output. The light appears to be constructed of good quality materials and the lens is a strong glass that is sealed. The fins on the back are designed to dissipate heat so be mindful of how you mount it. My suggestion would be to plug it in and allow it to warm up to feel how hot it gets before you mount it. This does not come with a switch. I would adapt an outlet to be controlled by a switch as they are rated for higher amps than inline switches. I gave this light 3 stars for the innovation but the lack of a UL certification is a deal breaker for me.In summary an LED light like this could be made both weather tight, bright, and serviceable which would make it energy efficient, safe, and environmentally friendly.Cheers

I could not be happier with this light. Quality laden, sturdy and solid, yet not heavy.First, it is so beautifully bright. Illuminates far beyond those of ordinary lights (to paraphrase "Superman"- as this is one super light).Second, it is a plug in- eliminates the need for any splicing, wiring or electrical work as it is permanently wired in.Third, it can be hung anywhere near an electrical outlet, as the plug allows you great flexibility in where you place it- just need to have an outlet nearby, with a either a wall switch to energize or shut off the outlet; or as I do- have an electrical plug with a remote control on/off function. They are extremely inexpensive- I bought a half-dozen of them here on Amazon. Otherwise, you can simply plug and/or unplug the light. The best of all situations!!Fourth, it is LED- tremendous electrical cost savings and extended life of the fixture.Fifth, it is waterproof- IP66.Last, but certainly not least- is the price point. This fixture is easily worth the price- even if you got only one- but you get two of these for that price.Six wonderful features make it a six star light. Too bad Amazon only allows a maximum of five star ratings,

Nice set of shop lights.Set included 2 shop lights and mounting hardware.Three instructions tell you to have an electrician to install... but I am not sure why. The lights come installed with 4.5' standard 3 prong US plugs. Further units seem to be sealed so swapping the power cord would not be posable inside the light.The manufacture also suggests you don't tough the front glass. I know this is common for high energy bulbs but have not seen this suggestion for led lights.The mounting hardware holds the light away from the wall/mounting surface, this will help with heat dissipation. It also allows for adjustment of the lighting angle.

I am working to set up a space in the garage that has mainly been storage and turn it into a little workshop space. This area has always been dark and tough to use. I saw these shop lights and thought I would give them a shot.They are VERY bright and certainly light up the intended space. While it comes as a two-pack, one was more than enough for my small space. I was able to make use of the other light to brighten up a spot in the garage that I usually struggle to see in.The lights themselves seem to be very well built with metal cases, so I expect that these will be lighting up my life for a while now!

Some of the simplest upgrades in life can make living less frustrating and more enjoyable, which has now been accomplished with the additional lighting these have added to our barn. With plugging these in, the light have been a great addition! And what could be easier than a simple plug for this.The lights have a solid feel. The directions suggest to wear gloves with the installation so that smears, etc. won't occur to distort any of the lighting once in use. The directions for installation are clear and the lights turn on as soon as they're plugged into an active electrical plug. In our case, these two plugs are activated with a wall switch.It's great to be able to have the extra light with a flick of a switch. These two LED lights have answered this long desired goal of extra lighting, which I highly recommend.

Got these to work on detailing in my garage and they work well. They are well made, with a nice aluminum heat dissipation sink in back and sturdy adjustable angle brackets for the wall. The surface of the front is glass, and can get quite warm in use. The cords however are a bit short, Less than 4 feet so keep that in mind for your mounting. They do not have an on off switch, which would have been really nice to include. I do not know if they are dimmable or not via an external dimmer but I would doubt it.The width of the beam at about 8 feet is not as wide as I had hoped for, and doesn't evenly light the entire length of the vehicle, but it still does a nice job. All in all I'd recommend these for the average homeowner as a nice garage/shop light!
