I ordered this product for my kids as they really enjoy anything that they can make for themselves!! I will be giving these cups to the kids sometime this summer, therefore, I cannot attest to its effectiveness, at this time, in making a slushy! This slushy maker set came within two days and was well packaged! It is made of a durable soft silicone-like material on the inside!! It seems pretty simple, just freeze the cups for 6 hours, pour your desired sweet drink, squeeze the cup a couple of minutes, and enjoy (no more trips to the convenience stores)!! The set also came with two color-coordinating spoons (one for each cup) and screw-on dome shaped lids!! This looks so fun and I am excited to share with the kids!

Took maybe four or five minutes, but then it really started thickening up like the texture actually changed right in our hands. Kinda cool to watch. The texture isn’t quite like a gas station slushie, more like a soft frozen smoothie. We’ve been playing around with different drinks ever since. Apple juice gets icy faster than soda for some reason, and lemonade turned out super refreshing. If you don’t freeze it long enough, you’re just squeezing a cold cup of juice. Learned that the hard way with the second cup. Six hours in the back of the freezer seems to be the sweet spot. Also, cleaning is easy enough, but I just rinse it and toss it back in the freezer so it’s always ready.

These are Super Cool! I had to make a frozen coffee with mine. I put in already chilled coffee and squeezed about a minute. It's nice to have frozen coffee that isn't watered down by adding ice. These will be great with juice! I also love my electrolyte drinks and look forward to having this at the pool this Summer. They will definitely be utilized as part of my hurricane kit this year. If the power goes they should stay cold enough in the freezer well into a 24 hour outage. I don't drink but if I did I'd probably put a mango margarita in it. So the biggest advantage to this compared to a blender is that you don't have to water it down with ice.

I got these for my granddaughter and grandson. I find the kids have to work too hard to make the slushy and the one for my granddaughter came apart which was a big disappointment.

I wanted to like these, but when I opened the box these came in, I was overwhelmed by a strong vinyl odor that reminded me of a new raincoat that needed to be aired out. The strong odor caused dizziness and a headache. When handling the cup, the scent got on my hands, and even after washing the cups, the vinyl stench is still there. I'm not going to let my kids drink out of anything that has any strong chemical or vinyl odors.

I love that these cups help make anything into a slushy!You freeze them before- overnight works best, IMO- & then pour in whatever liquid you want, wait a few minutes, & presto!It's easy, & the included straw & spoon are very helpful. Cleaning was a little tricky, but not too bad.
