TEST MODE: No matter day or night, it will turn on when motion is detected, and off after 5±3 seconds when no motion is detected. Tests the sensor’s functionality even during daylight hours.
AUTO MODE: At night, the motion sensor turns lights ON automatically when motion is detected and OFF after a preselected time delay
D2D MODE: Integral photocell effectively works to prevent it from activating during daylight, works automatically in the dark.
Manual Override Mode: Turn the wall switch OFF and ON within 2 seconds, devices will keep ON for 8 hours, auto turn off at dawn.
Stepless Adjustable
The control of sensitivity and time has been upgraded into stepless, which means that you can set the sensing range at 10 to 60ft and lighting time at 10s to 10 minutes, and anywhere in between.

Fairly easy swap to get my driveway floodlight working again. The test mode, sensitivity and range all function very good. One star deduction because of the directions. One of the leads is yellow, and no where in the instructions do they mention a yellow lead. I know enough about these to figure out where it went, but it might throw you if it's the first time you're replacing one of these.

Received two of these motion detectors. Very easy to install and worked great right out of the box. One of the detectors photo cell malfunctioned after two months. I sent a note to the company and they rushed a replacement to me immediately! I could not be happier with the product and the customer service!

Both units DOA. I hooked them up and my test leads showed 110v in and nothing out no matter what I tried. Re-read the miniature wiring diagram several times, they were wired right.The previous reviewer was right, they didn't even make the threads match the fixtures they were supposed to mount in!!

All of these sensors are prone to eventual failure, even those that come installed on a full light set.So, why pay for an entire floodlight when its sensor goes south? Just replace that faulty sensor with one of these instead, and save some money. I did just that several months ago and it's still going.I like that they sold this as a set of 2, so that I can keep an extra on hand for when it fails.

Update: it's been almost 3 months now since installation, so far so good. Apparently it's not passive infrared but montion activated because the light will be turned on very often under windy conditions. Even it's weather proof always put a roof above it you won't regret it!Got this in 2 days with free shipping over $35, which I found Amazon shipping became really fast like only 2 days starting couple of months ago. Easy installation with the yellow wire as hot to the bulbs. It might need like a minute to warm up before going to test mode. And nowhere in the product description mentioned it's passive infrared but only in it's title. First installation worked great. Don't know in 3 months or so but we'll see
