These two red faraday pouches are attractive and just the right size for my use. I tested them by putting my key fob inside a pouch, closed it, then walked up to my car door with the pouch in my hand. Without the pouch my car door would audibly unlock if I touch the door handle, but that did not happen and pulling the door handle did not open it. When I took my key fob out of the faraday pouch and pulled on the door handle, then it did open. So the faraday bag worked as expected.Another aspect of this faraday pouch is its bright red color, which makes it easier to find when looking for where I left my keyfob. Also, unlike other faraday pouches that have two pockets - one protected and one unprotected, this faraday pouch has only one pocket, so there's no confusion about which pocket is the right one to protect your keyfob.We really like these and use them every day to store our keys inside the house, protecting them from outsider interlopers with antennas.

My wife works with police and learns all about things I would rather not know about, such as the fact that people can basically steal your car by “sniffing” the frequencies of your key fob. There hasn’t been a rash of such stealing in our area, but it happens from time to time. Because it’s not terribly convenient to keep your keys in these faraday containers all the time, we’re not careful to use them everyday, but certainly, we’re going to be careful when it becomes more common. Just wish we lived in a world where it isn’t needed, but that world doesn’t exist anymore, if it ever did. The only complaint I have is just that it’s an inconvenience to use these.
