The braid is too loose. It will not work for small articles of clothes.

I wish I'd taken a photo of our amusing hotel bathroom launderette setup, but I'll just have to tell you in words that there's no way we would have traveled as comfortably--and cleanly--as we were able to without the aid of this clothesline halfway through our trip. Each end has a Velcro loop as well as a clip, so we had options for attaching the line to whatever turned out to be handy. From the showerhead, once around the pull-out wall mirror, then to the towel rack and partway back? Sure! The braided elastic line means that no clothespins are necessary (extra clutter and weight), you can just pull a corner of whatever you're drying through the braid and it holds tight. We were drying mostly socks and undies, not snow-soaked parkas or sopping-wet towels, but it was plenty sturdy enough for our needs and then some.

Works as intended. It really needs to be stretched at max to hold via the loop but other wise you can just use it as a regular hanging line or bring some pins. But would recommend 10/10 for camping or washing clothes in hotel room

This is better than the other travel clothesline I used for years.Pros: Other clotheslines may have a velcro loop only. With the velcro loop and the clip with this, you have more options to hang it: circle the loop around something, use the clip on an available hook, or if the object you're attaching to is too wide for either of those, you can loop the clothesline back on itself and clip. These are also made of what feels like a nylon blend material. My prior one was was a rubber/plastic material and it eventually disintegrated. This doesn't feel like that will happen quickly.Neutral: Some note that it's bulkier for packing. For me this is offset by a longer, more useful length. It's easy enough to cram around whatever you are packing, unless you need to focus on being super lightweight on a trip.

No matter what the hotel room, it’s a pain to find places to dry clothes effectively, and I won’t travel without this now. This replaces an old much less beefy one from years ago, and the braids eventually stretched and broke in places. This one is very substantial, and frankly, I think it’ll last the rest of my life, as long as I don’t leave it in a hotel room! Only downside is if you’re packing super light- this is not just a string but will take up some space. However, it will hold your clothes without them falling out of the braid-even heavier items –and with the Velcro and carabiners, you can find just about anything in a room to attach it to.

My daughter and I travelled for 2 weeks together and decided to do laundry. We were able to load it up. Everything dried by the following morning. Great idea. Long enough.
