The set up of these cards are fun to mess around with. Follow a routine with a warm up through a cool down or just shuffle and do random poses or only pick your favorites. These sleek cards are easy to add to your home gym or carry into your regular gym to have a motivated focus. I go to the gym every day - usually ranging from doing half an hour or simple workouts to a couple hours of machines and weights and more intense workouts. Yoga is a good between- when I’m not feeling motivated or working out with any direction I can just flip out some cards and make my body do something.

These cards are fantastic for learning yoga moves. The descriptions of how to do the moves on the cards are very helpful. I don't have the time or money to go to yoga classes so I have to rely on at home routines. These are cards are a great alternative to books or videos and they allow you to customize or randomize your yoga workouts however you want. I've been really enjoying using the cards. It's also nice to have a physical representation on a yoga routine to look at rather than trying to make one up in my head and then remember all of the poses I want to do. The cards also make it kind of fun and you could randomly draw cards to do and make it into a game.

As beginners in yoga, my wife and I were looking for a simple and approachable way to ease into healthy habits—and these cards have exceeded our expectations. With over 100 poses ranging from beginner to advanced, the decks are incredibly versatile. Plus, the four tailored sequences make it easy to follow structured routines without feeling overwhelmed. We've even added a fun twist by gamifying the experience: before we indulge in an episode of our favorite TV show, we "earn" it by completing one yoga sequence. It's been a great motivator to stay active and make stretching a consistent part of our lives. The cards don't just offer physical benefits; they've sparked more meaningful interactions between us as we share laughs, challenge ourselves, and cheer each other on. They're perfect for solo practices too—and if you're feeling adventurous, tackling the advanced poses is a fun way to push your limits. All in all, these decks are absolutely worth the money. They're a simple yet impactful addition to our path toward healthier living, and we can't recommend them enough for anyone looking to bring mindfulness, movement, and a bit of fun into their routine.

The cost is outstanding for what you get. What do you get? An excuse or inspiration to get off your bum and practice. But this is not for learning. There are short "directions", but nothing about body self-awareness, breath, mindfulness, etc.,. So I would not recommend this for anyone who hasn't already learnt enough to practice on your own. I don't think I'll be using them too much longer, they just sorta don't match the way I learned or approach things. But it was perfect for inspiring me to practice again, and that alone is worth 10 x the price, so by all means get these if you're trying to get motivated.

Review of 2-pack yoga fitness cards from the Palace Learning StoreOne thing to note is that all of the illustrations portray a female doing the poses. I'm not sure how a male would feel about receiving these cards. On the other hand, maybe a woman would appreciate that fact more. Who knows?I really like these cards. These cards help to give me some motivation in my workouts. So many times I want to do yoga, but I'm not inspired enough to put together a good set of poses on the spur of the moment. More than once, that has led to me just quit after half-heartedly doing one or two things. Yes, I could do the sun salutation routine or something like that and not have to think about what to do next, but I like to change things up more and I don't always want to be following along with a workout video. These are informational cards in a playing-card format. They have a smooth, matte-finish plastic coating that is going to make the cards more durable. They're double-sided with different information about the same activity on both sides. One side has the pose name, its number, a category, and an illustration of a woman doing the exercise. The categories for the first pack of cards are warm up, stretching, balance, strength, core, backbending, and warm down. The categories for pack 2 are warm up, balance, inversion, core, twist, and warm down. The backs of the cards add what experience level the exercise is and a description of how to do the pose. There are 50 poses per box along with a few extra informational cards including cards with 4 suggested sequences of poses to make an entire yoga session. There is a suggested sequence for beginner/intermediate level, two for intermediate level, and one for advanced level. No complaints. For the price, they're very worthwhile. Since I received them, they have actually helped inspire me to practice yoga more.

The first exercise, however, is in patience -- for some reason the decks are very thoroughly taped up/together, so it took me a while to unwrap and open them. But once they were opened, they're great decks. They have a few cards at the top of the deck that explain the sections of the cards, like the title of the pose, the illustration of the pose, whether it's for beginners or intermediate, and the type of pose (like warm-up), etc.Even though you can easily look up yoga poses on the internet, and watch videos of it, which might be more helpful for some people, I like that these cards are offline -- I don't want to always be connected to my phone, so I'm glad that these don't have any requirements to scan a QR code or anything like that.I might look up some of the poses online first, if it looks like there's more to it than the picture shows, but for the most part they seem pretty intuitive.I'm looking forward to showing these to my kid so that we can incorporate them into our morning meditation routines that we're working on.
