I purchased these hood shocks for a 2002 Ford F150 and they were a perfect fit as were the originals. Received quickly and installation was easy. The hood opened to the same height as with original ones. Be sure and have someone to help you by holding the hood up (I accidentally dropped it during installation) Be sure and grease both end connections before installation. Hope these last for at lease 5 years; the original ones lasted 21 years. I recommend these hood shocks.
