Pour matrix 2014 fonctionne très bien même le panneau lève sur la fin de sa course. Reste à voir si il dureront dans le temps.

I bought these for my Matrix and watched YouTube. They were fairly easy to install, but the c clips were a bit difficult (for me) to loosen up for installation. The project almost went south when one of those things went flying. Thank goodness I recently swept the garage floor. Probably saved a good amount of money not going to the dealer for something so simple.

These struts were so easy to install and glide nice and smooth up and down. No more getting hit on my head from a falling hatch.

The old pistons were worn out. Installed these in minutes and they work great. Install hint: remove the clips holding the top and bottom to the ball receiver with a screwdriver, then pull the piston off on one side. Be careful, the tailgate will fall especially if the other piston is weak so maybe get something to hold it up. You can force the receivers into the balls easily with your hand or fist.

These snapped right in without any trouble in my 2012 Toyota Matrix! Super simple. It has been years since the tail gate has popped up on its own!
