These mats are great. My machine feels sturdier. It does not slide away from me. Same for foot pedal.

This sewing machine mat does what it says it will. It does quiet down the machine a bit and it definitely helps with lessening the vibrations. I use my machine on my dining room table and it usually shakes quite a bit..this pad helps out a lot with that.I gave this 4 stars because you can see by my photo the mat ins't large enough to cover the entire footprint of my machine. I can get the "legs" of my machine on the mat, but just barely. The photo in the listing makes the mat appear bigger. My machine is slightly larger, but not by a lot. I would guess this will still work for most machines.

Junk junk junk!! Wadded up and thrown in a box! Won’t lay flat. Permanent indents. It’s not worth the hassle to return so I will deal with it.
