Better than I expected n bought a counter weight to go with it n it works nicely

It’s great but if only it came with a baby pin adapter to use with a light. I use it for under lighting for product photography. Needed a very short stand and this is perfect, yet gives me the height when needed. I throw a sandbag on the bottom legs since I use it with a light that’s more beasty.

For it’s size it’s pretty sturdy.

Love my Big C stand so this one makes a good addition to my collection but for me is more like a toy to show others, it fall under light weight but is metal made and strong,

There are stops on the legs, so putting them in the right position is simple..The stand extends from about 12 inches to about 20 inches. Without extending the stand, I found it to be just right height for my camera. There’s a ball head on the end of the stand which the vendor implies can handle a payload of 4.4 pounds. I’m using it with webcams and smaller mirrorless cameras well within the weight limit. The ball head itself does not seem to be easily removable.A 13 inch cross bar with a ball head on each end is included. This fits into a clamp on the main part of the stand, which can be rotated almost 360 degrees.This arrangement provides great flexibility. As noted, the main stand extends from about 12 to 20 inches with a ball head on the top. The 13 inch cross bar has ball heads on each end. You can mount cameras, smartphones, lights, mics and other accessories in the positions you need to achieve the desired effect. Literally, with appropriate equipment you can build a video studio in very limited space.Thanks to the length and spread of the three legs, the stand is very stable even at its maximum height.I’m not particularly pleased with the T-handle locks holding the main stand sections in place. I think the manufacturer should have used a more secure method. Make sure you tighten these fully or you may have the stand sections or crossbar collapsing.Dismantling the unit after use, if you have to, is quick and simple. With the folding legs, the device folds flat for storage.The legs, by the way, have rubber-like tips to prevent scratching. On the unit I received, one of those tips was missing.Jerry
