If you go on a cruise, these are a must have!!! The size of the hook is perfect for your room and I am now using them in my classroom. They were easy to put together and easy to remove from the walls. They held a lot and we used them for everything!!!!!!!

I use these magnets to hang tool wrenches on hold the wrenches in place very well.

We got these to use in our cabin on our cruise. Someone had said that the walls were metal and they used these hooks all over the place to help organize things. It worked great! I would recommend getting the ones that hold more weight, though. I could individuallyt hang up my cpap mask, a single clothes hanger with one article of clothing on it, a hat, etc. on one hook. We also put them on either side of the door frame (metal) in the hall to hang a banner. They helped to make our cabin stays more pleasant.

I am only giving these 3 stars for one reason: pretty misleading advertising. The ad states 25lb which may be the break away strength (how much force required to pull off a surface) so buyers would think I can hang a 24lb object from one hook. Unfortunately the shear force (how much force it takes for the magnetic to "slide") is more in the 1-2 lb range. I used these to hang spice holders on my fridge and when all was said and done it took 5 magnets on each rack to hold them in place. 2 on top 3 across the bottom. Great for hanging light objects like kitchen mitts, individual cooking utensils, etc. but you aren't going to hang a pot from a single hook.
