These are nice strong magnets with hangers. They are great for holding necklaces onto something metal, my dresser has rustic metal trim and these hold my necklaces on it nicely so they don’t get tangled. I also use one on my range hood to hold my potholders and thermometers. They come in really handy, I’ve only seen these with small hooks until now, I really like the longer length, they hold all sorts of items. Love these. Recommend

They hold on to the ship walls just fine. To hang anything but a baseball cap. You need 3 together!

My family is planning a cruise for later this summer, and I have read in so many places that bringing along magnetic hooks is a good idea, since cruise cabin walls are made of metal and magnets will stick to them. Most of the magnetic hooks I found are short little curled hooks, so these stand out from the crowd. I think the fact that these are longer will make them better for drying out wet swimsuits, hanging up jackets, and so on. Since we have not gone on our cruise yet, I tried these hooks out at home on our refrigerator door. They should support a wet swimsuit (once you've wrung it out) with no difficulty. A light jacket or a hat should also be no problem. I don't think these can hold anything really heavy, but the extended hooks make them a great option to buy for your next cruise or just to use around the house.
