Crushed powdery mix in package. I’ve saved dill seeds before and the contents of this package looked like powdery soil and not seeds. What a waste of $

There are so many seeds in this slippery, plastic packet. Because the packet is such a slick material, it’s harder than usual to keep closed so that any unused seeds remain contained, but a paperclip seems to do the job well enough. The front of the packet is nicely labeled with the variety of dill and a photo of a flowering plant. It also indicates that these seeds are non-GMO, heirloom, and USA-grown. On the back, very helpful growing instructions and tips are included. I’ve already added a few sprinkles of these seeds to my spring garden here in Florida, and as suggested, I’ll attempt to keep sowing more seeds every 2-3 weeks, staggering them. It’s probably going to be too hot for these here in likely less than a month (April), but they may receive enough shade from nearby flowers so as to not burn up completely. If they don’t survive at all, I’ll just wait until temperatures start dropping to a comfortable level in November and see if I can get success from them during the Florida “winter.”
