I’ve recently purchased my own kayak and needed a car rack. This one works great. It was a little tedious to get on but it’s sturdy and stays put. It’s easy to open to place my kayak on too. It also came with straps to ensure the kayak is strapped down well.

Bought this for transporting my new kayak, works great first time taking it out was a bit windy. Used the straps that came with and it worked great and kept the kayak from flying off the roof of my car.

Box was beat to hell when delivered but not blaming the seller. Everything was there including instructions, super easy to install. Note that if you have crossbars on your 2018 Forester just use the medium sized bolts you don’t need the long ones. Nice yak rack, good to go.
