We needed a new pool thermometer and I liked this one as it could be read without having to touch the water. Very clear and accurate. The added bonus of the lights, make pool time in the evening more fun! The lights are very mesmerizing.

We ordered this solar thermometer for our hot tub, unfortunately it’s been freezing up north even though it’s the end of May so we haven’t filled it yet. I did test it in the bathtub and it puts on a beautiful light show.This thermometer is made of a sturdy plastic and it has a solar panel and LCD screen on the top. Like any other solar light this must be exposed to sunlight for at least 4-6 hr to get 5-8 hours of light. I didn’t think about this when ordering because our hot tub is on a covered patio so I guess I will have to place it in the sun a few hours every few days. This thermometer has 7 light modes and the plastic crystal shade projects a beautiful spotted pattern in the water but unfortunately, and the reason for 4 stars are the colors cycle through constantly, there’s no way to program it or chose a specific color and I think some color patterns are nicer than others. The LCD screen and the temperature reading is very clear and readable and I think the thermometer reading is fairly accurate, maybe a degree or two off compared to a thermometer I placed in the bathtub but that one could be wrong as well.Overall, this thermometer requires no assembly, is very easy to operate and it functions as described. I think the price point is a little expensive since it is plastic and you can’t control the light function, it just cycles through all the colors. If I had to make a suggestion I would say the manufacturer should add a remote control and make the light function programmable.

This pool thermometer is large and easy to read. It is very easy to switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit. I wish it came with a cord so I could tie it to our pool steps as there’s a small hole on the side of the thermometer to do just that. I can not figure out how to get the lights to turn on. The directions seem easy enough to follow but the lights do not come on. That’s not a problem for me because I probably wouldn’t use the light anyway, but that feature doesn’t work on this particular item. I like the large display on this thermometer making it easy to see the temperature. I gave it 4 stars rather than 5 because the lights don’t work.

Works as advertised. Threw it in our pool and it read the temp in both fareignheit and Celsius. At night it lights up which is cool. It is too big to get stuck in the filler so that is great.

This thing is Awesome! I like that it’s solar powered, works easily, accurate temperature. So far I’d say it’s pretty great at being waterproof but if anything changes I’ll update the review. Says it takes three hours to sun charge but mine worked in one hour with our crazy Texas sun. My son and husband loved seeing the light up colors at night. It’s not too bright of lights. It’s really cool there are different modes like flashing. Still color (with color choices) and slow fade color switching. Only thing I’m disappointed in is there’s not a multicolor rainbow option like it shows in the photos. Outs is one color at a time. But I still love it. I used to rely on my Apple Watch to tell me the pool temp but I have to be in the pool submerged and even then it doesn’t always work. This temp gauge is reliable and easy to read. You can choose Celsius or degrees Fahrenheit.

This works exactly as it should. I got this for my hot tub since I love having one in my pool. I compared the reading to my pool thermometer and it was spot on. I put it in around 14:00 and by the time it got dark enough to trigger the sensor, the lights turned on as pictured. I can’t attest to how long they lasted (because I was asleep a few hours later lol) only being charged for half the day, but they were really vibrant for the first use without a full charge. Would recommend and purchase again!

Love this thermometer. Gives a great light show in the pool after dark. The screen for the temperature is nice and big. Easy to see! The high/low temp recording for the day is interesting. This makes this thermometer a step above the rest.

Looks great and thermometer works well. Compact light array could be stronger but haven't had it fully charged due to overcast and rainy days.
