This weed rake has two problems: 1) it's too short, you have to bend over to pull the weeds out and 2) it's flimsy, the tines on the fork bent the first time I used it. I straightened it out, and it bent again. Not all the tines (there are 4) but a couple each time.That having been said, when you insert it at the base of a weed, it does pull up the whole root system. Works better on some weeds than others though.

the prong bent the first time trying to pull weed. Do not buy this one. Steal used is very soft and not strong.

This tool is so easy to use and downright deadly to weeds, even the ones with deep roots. They come out without a fight. This is my best purchase of the spring season. Highly recommend for anyone who wants a solid, satisfying, slightly addictive way to keep their yard looking sharp. Just don’t be surprised if you start picking fights with innocent plants for the thrill of it

tines are weak should be twice as thick. bend alot pulls weeds very good. but get them while they are small.

Very effective tool for weeding, When I unwrapped it I first thought it seemed a bit flimsy, but now have used it for several hours pulling weeds I can say that it is very effective, strong enough for the task, and being relatively light weight makes it easier to use. I have some heavier weeding tools that are better for tough tight soils, but they are also a lot more effort to use.
