It's solid and not many moving parts. Should hold out well, only time will tell. Curious though how the rubber gaskets will survive in the long term, but we'll see.

This shut off valve works exactly as it should on my garden hose. When closed, it doesn't let even a drop of water out, it makes a perfect seal. When open it still allows for really good water flow. The only thing I'll mention is that it comes with one side of a quick connect set, but it's useless with this shut off valve unless you happen to have the proper other half of the quick connect on hand (which I did have - see my attached photos). It's not at all necessary though, the shut off valve does not require anything other than itself to work.The lever and the part that connects to the hose are both plastic, the listing photos show only the lever as being plastic but that's not the reality. Hopefully despite that it will last a long time... so far so good anyway!

A solid simple piece equipment. Great for quick connections and tough enough to handle everyday use as well as everyday weather. It has a good feel and worth the buy.

Nicely machined sturdy hose end shutoff. The male part fits perfectly with the quick coupler I have on my pressure washer. It turns on and off easily.
