Polisher performance is great, ran for about 40 hours so far no issues. Pads are not so good, invest in a better set of pads.

This review is being done strickly on box opening with out using the actual product. I will update review as needed after i get a chance to use the buffing kit.Appon receiving the product, it was apparent that it was very well packaged. There was a outter shipping box, the box the product was in and well packaged and protected inner packaging.While taking each item out, it is clear that the polisher/buffer is well made, is the expected weight of the well knowing brands like 3m, dewalt and ect.The buffer actually has "3" handels not two. The first handel being the same as you would find on a grinder or other polisher/buffer. The second is a well build, solid, two point attachment handel that goes on the top if you wish to use that one. The second is part of the polisher/buffer body and is located at the very front.Moving on the the other items.The kit comes with a bag that has the hardware for mounting the handles. The bag also include a spare set of brushes for the motor, which is a nice bonus... this should indicated that the unit is a long lasting and user servicable polisher/buffer.The included polishing and buffing pads are well build and look and feel like they will last a very long service life if properly cared for. The kit include polishing and buffing pads that range from polishing to full on paint restoration, correction as well as deep scratch removal pads. NOTE: The more expensive polisher/buffing units on the market DO NOT INCLUDE all the pads required and you will need to purchase them each on their own.The kit also include a apron, microfiber cloths, a storage/travel bag, wash mit and few other odds and ends.If you are reading this... your most likely asking is this kit worth the price or is it just a cheap unit with lots of extras included to make it look like a good value. My professional opinion as a detailer who has worked with owners of expensive show cars and rare classic cars is that I would purchase this kit again and again when required, as it is a excelent deal, its value packed and will actually save you money just buying this kit.ALSO NOTE: The polisher/buffer in this kit, uses standard polishing/buffing pads that use velcro attachment. This make it convenent, so that you can go to your local automotive body supply store or automotive detailing supplyer to get new pads as needed.I will update this after I test the unit out next week on a vehical that requires not only corrective work, but also a few deep scatches removed, followed buy 2 to 3 layers of high quality wax. This will allow me to base the updated review on not only basic wax/polish job (light duty work) but also where the money counts on more serious but harder work for the mechine to do.

I am impressed on this unit. My old polisher was a big beast so this is a big improvement. Has a heavy and soft 14’ cord. Came with a carry bag and lots of extra pads and things. I’m not going to use the handles that came with it but it’s nice to have that option. Has doors lock with 6 different speeds. Was worth the money. Not a paid review just a guy that did lots of time reading up on polishers before I bought this one. Glad I did.

I purchased the 21mm version it's says 5" in description but when it arrived it is definitely a 6". I'm a first timer using a DA polisher and I have to say it was extremely easy to use and produced the results I was looking for on a pretty rough looking black vehicle. My opinion is it a great purchase, price is right and works well. My only complaint is the wrong size listing, it cost me $20 for the return of the wrong size pads I ordered when I ordered the polisher Hence the 4" instead of a 5

Great machine and great value for what you get out of the box from ShineJack. You cant find a polisher set for $130 that Comes with 5 different pads, 10 sanding discs, extra brushes, 2 types of handles, bag, apron, etc.The build quality is solid, low vibration, not too heavy to use for long periods of time.Nice thick gauge wire cord. I have a Chemical Guy Torq polisher and this one blows it out of the water. I got the 21mm throw since it was on sale , might pick up the smaller 9mm throw, cant go wrong for the price of these plus 6 months warranty.

I really liked this polisher. It worked beautifully for almost a week. A real tank of a tool!But, I went to remove a polishing pad I was using, and it peeled the velcro loop and hook off of the backing plate. This has now rendered my backing plate useless, and I will have to purchase a new backing plate to replace this cheap one.NOTE: After contacting the seller, they refunded me the cost of the new backing plate, and some extra for my troubles. Changing this to a 5 star review now.This unit is a tank, maybe the backing pad adhesion wasn't the best, but the seller has 100% backed the product.

First off, I love this thing. It works. I have old, larger buffer from some 30 years ago that still works fine. However, I was fighting a battle with water pots baked into the finish of a black vehicle. Using this polisher with a Meguire's cutting pad and 3D One Car scratch and swirl remover, followed by using a microfiber pad and Meguire's D30116 microfiber finishing wax, removed those spots and other scratches and restored the finish to a high gloss. Then completed the process by a hand application of some heavy Carnuba wax for protection. This polisher was a key in this paint restoration process. The variable speed is very helpful. Attaching the side handle really makes for great ergonomics. The smaller pad size really helps with maneuverability. Although it has a long cord, I still used it with an extension cord which helped with reaching the roof, etc. If you are looking for a polisher, whether for routine maintenance or paint restoration, this polisher delivers. Recommended.

I love the variable speed I did some research on you tube and reading the instructions it work like a champ. E extremely well made plenty of pads to get you started

I bought this to polish up my boat because of youtube videos I have watched telling me to buy expensive DA buffers to get the result I needed. I was very impressed with the construction and all of the accessories that come with it. Numerous pads, towels, and even an apron. I am a big tool guy and I can tell you the quality of a tool by the material they use on the power cord. This thing actually uses a rubber shielded power cord, not a vinyl coated one that is a nightmare in cold weather. Great tool!
