I bought these gloves because I needed a way to remove a hot suppressor after going to the range. It’s a comfortable glove overall. It definitely works to provide heat resistance. With my experience I’ve had heat start to come through (100 rounds of 556/762 fired within 15 minutes) about 3-5 seconds after contact. After about 10-15 seconds it starts to feel uncomfortable. I personally haven’t had to test it with actual fire. I’m satisfied with my purchase and I would definitely recommend these to a friend unless if I find something better. I purchased the XL and they fit me slightly big around the wrist. It does have an adjustable strap but they could have increased the amount of adjustability. While I’ve never tried those oven/BBQ type mitts I went with this because I wanted a more natural feeling glove. I’m still in the process of breaking them in. They’re still a bit on the stiffer side, mainly at the finger tips.

honestly 212 makes the best gloves out there hands down. these are perfect for a fab shop environment. these are Tig gloves they will not last a long time with any other process. 10/10 will buy again

Save yourself 45 dollars i work in a pipeline and these burned out in less than a week id say 3 days im disappointed never buying these again. Also false advertising they're not FR at all sparks went through like nothing. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND

My new favorite glove! As far as versatility, the 212 performance fire resistant glove covers all bases for the most serious hands-on workers and being a tin knocker, I can say that the level of cut resistance is top of the line as well as the fire resistance. These gloves change the welding game! Safety is a huge priority for my hands and I am completely satisfied in how they are protected when I’m wearing these. I’m happy to say I’ve finally found my go-to pair of gloves.
