I think I saw somewhere that these gloves were made for TIG welding. I use them when I MIG weld as they offer very good dexterity and are plenty heavy to handle that heat.

Good for TIG welding, this is my second pair.

I was looking for a thinner glove I could use for grinding and cutting that would protect my forearms as I dont like wearing long sleeve shirts in the summer. These gloves are great. Thin so I have dexterity, have decent hear resistance, and are nice and soft but durable. The only complaint I have is the glove thumb on my right hand is 3/4" longer than the other. I have normal sized male hands/fingers so it seems to be a sewing or template mistake.

I use these for TIG, MIG and even plasma cutting. Offer good hand/wrist protection while doing all three. Depending on how much MIG welding I'm doing, I might swap the left glove for something heavier. But having this one for my trigger hand is critical (much better control that way). Will be buying more as needed.

Excellent thin glove for delicate TIG work. I use this on my rod feed hand and a thicker one for resting my torch hand on the hot work.

These are the only gloves that I use anymore. After 30 years of welding, these are the best that Ive found. I use them for all of my mig work as well.
