The original thermostat was acting 'buggy' so I purchased this one as a replacement. Since I recieved it the original seems to be fine. I'll hold this one as spare part insurance.I learned years ago if you buy a spare part, you probably will never need it🙃

We are repairing our old Whirlpool fridge to use as our garage fridge and it was running non-stop, making everything inside a giant block of ice. We diagnosed the issue as this part. We were a little skeptical about it but it turned out to fit perfectly. Best of all, it fixed the issue! Now we'll have a good running spare fridge that runs efficiently.

Refrigerator was freezing up down to one fridge is cold and working and not freezing. Update. Occasionally sticks and freezes up. After a year runs full time thermostat junk. Replaced with oem works correctly now

Purchased this as a replacement thermostat for my Whirlpool refrigerator. Food and milk now ice cold, saved me from having to buy a new refrigerator.
