22Pcs CV Boot Clamp Pliers SetI wish I would have had these 15 years ago when I needed to replace a CV boot on my car. At that time I ended up just replacing the whole axle because I did not have the means to replace the clamp only. This tool would have saved me some cash. I got it to have on a hand for when my sons inevitably have to do the same job. The tools included are of good basic quality, and some CV boot clamps are included as well as a nice bonus.

Do not buy this, try another one, clamp plier is just trash, they send you clamps which are only can be pressed by clamp plier, and that plier cannot press it, it just damages the heads, I wasted one original and 3-4 their clmaps but still couln't do it. Only another rotating and cutting tool works but for that one you need to buy special clamps because in this pakacge they don't send any such type of clamp. So you buy this tool but cannot get any job done. Just waste of money and time.

The clamp pliers have 2 jaws that are meant to hook under the 'ears' of the clamp and pinch it together as a 'pressure plate' between the jaws moves toward the clamp to 'flatten' it.The problem is that the plate pushes the 'ears' before the jaws can get a grip under them, to the jaws never get a chance to work.I don't know if I got a defective set of pliers or maybe the clamps are defective/wrong and aren't meant to work with these pliers, as I lost my old pair. However, the same thing happens with the other bunch of clamps I have, so I'm guessing it's a pliers issue.Have not contacted the seller yet, as i'm most likely just going to modify them or buy another set, as $20 isn't worth my time and I've already wasted enough trying to understand why these aren't working.
