These are nice and affordable for putting in the children’s Christmas Shoeboxes for Samaritan’s Purse ministry. Along with other school supplies, these make a great gift so the children can keep their pencils sharpened no matter their age and ability. We even include them with the 2-4 age group with the thicker pencils for learning to write. Also, we Include them with for older kids along with a pack of colored pencils. The mess stays inside and sharpens both standard and beginner pencils as well as colored pencils.

Purchased these as a favor for my nephew's goodie bag. Sharpeners go missing at school so I am confident the parents will appreciate this option. The quality is great, sturdy and love the closure at the top so they kids do not put their fingers or shavings drop out. Great value for money. Would recommend purchasing.

These small inexpensive sharpeners are compact and light weight. They are perfect for the classroom supplies. There are two size slots for colored pencils and #2 pencils, They are clear, and show when the sharpener shavings need to be emptied from the bottom bin. The children love using these sharpeners asks promotes independence. The sharpeners come with a small storage bin if the teacher wants to collect and store. The sharpeners allow the ability to use permanent marker for the children name or initials.

With other items, I gifted them to grade school students in my family. The bright colors are perfect for dividing among boys and girls, and the size is good.My only issue is that the top part tends to pop off kind of easily, which can be a hazard for the younger kids.
