This set of screw extractors is one of the most complete that I have ever seen. This set includes 25 screw extractors in SAE sizes ranging from 3/16" to 7/8". Metric applications can be covered in most cases by using the nearest smallest metric equivalent.I like that the set comes in a blow molded storage case. However I don't like that the case has a thin plastic spine instead of a pinned hinge. That spine will eventually crack and render the case problematic. Another problem with the case is that it does not hold the screw extractors securely. There is no press fit or snap action to the storage. The extractors simply lay into their respective slots. One needs to be careful to always open the case right side up or else all the screw extractors will spill onto the floor.Each screw extractor is marked with its size, but the markings are not engraved or laser etched. Over time, I expect the markings to rub off. Then I will have to use a micrometer to determine the size of screw extractor I am using.Having said all of this, the set is made of high quality steel and the machining appears to be excellent. At the $30 price point, this set is a good value compared to similar sets. However, with Amazon now offering a 15% coupon, this set is now an even better bargain. Considering everything, I rate this set 4 stars.

This was going to be my only choice because my bolt was trapped. I selected the proper extractor after center hitting and drilling all the way through the hole. Excellent storage and travel case, fairly sturdy, and available in a wide range of sizes from tiny to big. The size marks helps for the vision

Thankfully, I haven’t had to use these yet, but it’s one of those essential kits every garage should have,. Just in case.The tools look high quality, and the case is sturdy and well-organized. Feels like a smart buy for future emergencies.
