Heat stopped working in dryer.This was an extremely easy install. Basically just plug it in.I should have bought it with:“3387134 Cycling Thermostat, 3392519 Thermal Fuse, 3977393 Thermal Cut-off Switch, 3977767 High-limit Thermostat“I had to rip the old thermal/cutoff switch off the old heat element and put it on the new. Pliers are your friend if you happen to go that route.

Cheap, but easy to install. I have to buy 2 or three a year. Still less expensive than buying a factory part. Seems like they keep them in stock because they're usually available for next day delivery in my area.

After having my Maytag dryer for 15 years, with kids, the element failed. Bought this element in July '24, failed April '25 after only doing about 3 loads a week. Found numerous insulators broken that caused the element to short out and burn up. My son also bought the same element and had the same problem within a year. Unless you like repairing your dryer yearly, I'd stay away from this product.

I replaced my heating element after my dryer stopped working on Christmas day. Cleaned out the lint and found the heating element was cracked, bought this to replace it. Very simple job and my dryer works better than when I first got it (bought used 2 years prior to this replacement). Almost 10 full months later and still works well and has cut my electric bill from less run time by $10-15/month.

I had ordered this element which apparently included a one year warranty, and it failed 2 months after it was installed. Things happen, and I understand products can fail beyond anyones control however I have attempted to reach the seller twice either to have another one shipped out or a refund on the element and I have heard absolutely nothing back. I would have offered 5 stars even wtih the failure had someone helped me and send another or refund the product if it was unavailable. Like I said things happen. I dont expect anything now, all I can hope for is that someone else doesnt waste thier time. Stay clear of this seller.
