Writing this review to my recently purchase of the Motivx Tools 27mm Low Profile Oil and Fuel Filter SocketSocket is made of solid Chromium-vanadium steel, very nice quality, fits neatly my oil filter cap perfectly and overall a great product and so based upon my excellent experience I would certainly recommend to anyone and obviously would also be buying more Motivx® products in the near future.

It's a pretty simple product so it either work or it doesn't.... Glad to report it works great. Side note it comes in a really nice box, not sure why but bonus point for packaging!

I haven't had the chance to use it yet, but it appears to be a top quality socket. Packaging in it's own foam lined box adds a nice touch, but the socket will probably end up in my tool box to save space and easy access. Bottom line is that I'm glad I bought it....appears to be of very high quality and the price was reasonable.

I have a 2009 Chevrolet Cobalt.This works great. I have a 1 1/4" socket that is is big and bulky--it fit my other cars oil filter and cleared the hose, but not the 2009 Cobalt. The clearance for the oil filter for my 2009 Cobalt is minimal--there's a hose right in the way.I included a picture showing the height of the socket is about 3/4".I hope this helps with your buying decision.It worked great. I could use the socket to get the filter out to the point I could use my hand.

Cool tool, works well to remove oil filters. I wouldn’t recommend this for axle nuts. I repeat, do not use for axle nuts! It will snap.

Using it as tool to remove the oil filter cap on a GM 2.4l. Don't mess around with anything else. If you are doing your own filter changes, buy this tool!

Good quality socket that appears to be well made. Smooth finish on the metal with no bad cuts or burrs. Only negative is the flaws in the satin silver finish which has 2 or 3 round spots of what looks like corrosion on it. Surprising since this was packaged and not likely exposed to the elements.
